John Krambeer is the founder and CEO of Validus Capital, a Los Angeles-based registered investment advisor and modern multi-family office serving ultra-high-net-worth families. Validus, which he founded in 2022, manages approximately $2.5 billion in client assets through comprehensive advisory, alternative investment access, and bespoke family office services.

Validus is the second multi-billion-dollar firm Krambeer has built. Before founding Validus he founded Camden Capital in 2004 and served as its CEO and Partner. Prior to that, he spent sixteen years at Merrill Lynch, where he helped build the Private Banking and Investment Group. Across more than three decades of practice, he has been recognized by Barron’s as a Top 100 Independent Wealth Advisor and as one of America’s Top Financial Advisors.

In 2025, Validus partnered with Merchant to expand the firm’s multi-family office capabilities. Krambeer is a frequent guest on industry podcasts on the topics of building wealth management firms and serving multi-generational families.
